About photographer

I am a passionate UK based photographer, specialising in landscapes, with a particular affinity for cold places. There's nothing I enjoy more than being out in the elements with my camera. Recent winter trips have included Yellowstone, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and the Lofoten Islands in Norway. I also travel extensively within the UK, covering Cornwall, Wales, Northumberland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands in 2014/15.

In 2015, I won the Snow & Ice award in the International Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. I was also shortlisted in both the 2013 and 2014 Travel Photographer of the Year competitions.

I am a regular entrant and award winner in the British Photographic Exhibitions (BPE) and Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) exhibitions. I currently hold the titles of FBPE and FIAP Gold. In 2013 I won a Gold Medal in the Trierenberg exhibition, the world's largest photo art contest.
