Peter Svoboda is a photographer, judge and curator based in Slovakia. He is a member of FEP (Federation of European photographers) and APFSR (Association of Slovak professional Photographers). Peter's work is mainly focused on landscapes showing a strong mood and interesting light, in colour and in black&white. His pictures are known as precisely composed, often capturing rare moments of human presence in nature. An Interview with Heike Odermatt by Beata Moore
Heike Odermatt is a semi-professional photographer, originally from Germany, who lives in The Netherlands. She is well known for her beautifully composed landscapes, wildlife images as well as sensitively balanced natural abstracts. Since her early childhood she hoped to photograph landscapes and wild animals. Years after she got her first analog camera, she decided in 2002 to pursue nature photography. For a few years she was restricted with her photography due to a serious illness, but currently Heike is working on new approaches to allow her to re-start her photographic activities. Her work has been awarded in several international competitions, among them, Wildlife Photographer of the Year (BBC) and European Wildlife Photographer of the Year (ENJ). Anne Mäenurm is an amateur landscape and nature photographer based in the Northern Italy (North-East, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia). She was born and brought up in the Northern Estonia countryside. For her, photography is not just a hobby, it has become a way of balancing life. She prefers photographing the natural world – spending time outdoors makes her feel close to the roots of life. She is in constant search for those fleeting moments of magic that turn our world into something extraordinary. In her images she strives to reflect the atmosphere, feeling, and sheer wonderment that our natural world evokes within us.
