This winter I made a series of images of the mountains nearby me during the various cold snaps with snow cover. Rather than do my usual hikes up on to high ground I found shooting across or up on a longer lens than normal revealed some very special moments and isolated real transient moments of beauty that you can witness when combined with the early morning light in this part of the world.
