The day after a major wind storm, snow drifts had been bullied into fanciful shapes and were speckled with sand. The dun-coloured snow seemed to have the faded delicacy of an old master etching. I used the trees to add visual tension to the otherwise sensuous silhouette of the wind blown landscape. Two images were merged to create a panoramic format which suggests the expansiveness of the landscape. [+]
