Morning mist dominates a very special forest in northeastern Greece, the black pine forest. Pine trees grow at the altitude of 400 to 1800 metres in Greece. An exception to the rule is the coastal black pine forest located in Petrota, Rodhopi, consisting of miniature trees! For many years I had been trying to capture this area in the way I wanted, but was never able to do it. That morning, though, I was in the right place at the right moment! The wonderful morning atmosphere created an image worthy of my expectations.
