Selection of November 2017: The winds of Aegean Sea by Alexandros Moustris

The winds of Aegean Sea by Alec Moustris

The etesians (every year - “etos” in Greek) are strong, dry north winds of the Aegean Sea, which blow in the summer, especially in August. The photo captured a cloudy and stormy summer sunset of August in the central Aegean Sea. I was a passenger on a Blue Star Ferry. I looked at the turbulent sea and was searching for the moment when the wave came in the opposite direction from the air and bounced over the sparkling water cloud.
Somewhere on a rocky and steep coast of Tinos island, at Central Aegean Sea, Greece.
