When rain drop refract sunlight a rainbow appears in the sky, but if the drop are less than 0.05mm - if there is mist or fog rather than rain - the arc can become almost entirely white. After sunrise i find a layer of fog lay over the meadow, and a white arc appears, only for few minutes. Picture was taken in “Pian Grande”, a plateau located in Sibillini National Park, Center Italy, that in July is affected by the "blossoming” for about two weeks a year. It is an ephemeral phenomenon spectacular where wild flowers of different colors overrun in whole plateau. These beautiful places have been devastated by the earthquake in August 2016, and also the small village, hit hard by the earthquake, is now completely isolated because all access roads are destroyed.
