Harsh...winds & Winter Lines

Winter is prevailing, its minus 45C. Sun is low, wind blowing my aircraft is off course. Or is it my intention to capture the essence of Arctic weather. Yes it is ! Evoking the wind its carving into the continent and the cold are in essence the definition of the Canadian arctic in winter. [+]

This scene was taken around the same dates...it represent a minus 40C and the effect on the landscape..Thanks for sharing

We can stay a long time in front of this image and imagine the hard conditions of this far part of the planet... This gives an impressive feeling of emptiness.
