The image was taken in November 2023 in Holbav, Romania. I was at a photo tour with other photographers from my country, because in that time of the year the nature was beautiful and colorful. The weather in the first two days was not favorable for photography. It was raining a lot and the atmosphere was very grey, but we were lucky on our third day.
At sunrise, we headed to a hill to capture the landscape around it and thankfully the weather was amazing. The sky was clear and the fog was forming in the valley, thanks to the rain from the previous days. As the sun was rising, the fog started to have a golden color and the whole atmosphere was magical. Because of this I concentrated especially on the fog and made an intimate landscape photo.
I did not edit the photo very much, I just highlighted the glow and the golden color of the fog in that moment. It was truly an unforgettable day in nature I would always remember.
