Coming back from a sugar shack in late winter 2016, the road, at the top of a steep coast, revealed a hilly landscape covered with mixed forest. The dark arrows of the softwood trees contrasted with the skeletons of the deciduous trees bleached by winter. It was already dark, but I took this photo, knowing that it would only reveal itself once properly post-processed.
Black and white, obtained in Silver Efex Pro, did not satisfy me. I tried to choose a bluish shade and found the image more attractive, with more punch than black and white. Finally, I added a bit of vignetting, with the same software.
