Simon has begun his career as a journalist and has been working for 20 years for radio where he is scenarist, radio producer and script writer. He has also made around 30 documentaries and has been awarded several times in France as well as internationally for his work.
During all these years, Simon has stayed close to photography. He has co founded and has been the chief editor of “Diplopie”, an international review of photojournalism. He was the author of the French television Arte program for discovering the philosopher Jean Baudrillard photography. He has also collaborated to several books of Tendance Floue, a collective of photographers where he was editorial manager. In 2007, he was editorial advisor of the photography book “Sommes-nous” that won the Infinity Award from the International Center of Photography – New-York (ICP).
